Mika

Mica Penniman (18 de agosto, 1983) más conocido como Mika es un cantante de origen libanés. Actualmente vive en Inglaterra, país en el que ha cosechado un gran éxito

Nació en Beirut, capital del Líbano. Su nombre verdadero es Michael Holbrook Penniman Ismaili. Son cinco hermanos, de madre libanesa y padre estadounidense. Huyendo de la guerra del Líbano pasó con su familia por diferentes lugares (París) antes de establecerse en Londres a la edad de nueve años, al mismo tiempo que descubrieron que Mika sufría de dislexia. Más tarde, a Mika, se le contrató una profesora rusa de ópera para que le enseñara canto, lo que hizo que a los 15 años ya cantara como tenor. Se matriculó en la London School of Economics para estudiar economia y política pero dos semanas después ya estaba estudiando música en el Royal College of Music.
